VanlyGo receipts list with supplier names such as CEF Bow and Screwfix Hackney, each with a date and amount.
The VanlyGo receipts list, with supplier, date and amount.

Receipt capture is a VanlyGo Pro feature. It stores a photo and the figures you type. VanlyGo does not read the receipt for you.

Add a receipt

  1. On Home, tap Create new, then Receipt. Free accounts are taken to VanlyGo Pro.
  2. Enter the Supplier. The app asks for this before you add a photo.
  3. Enter the Amount and check the Date.
  4. Optionally set a category (Materials, Fuel, Tools or Other).
  5. Optionally link a customer, estimate or invoice.
  6. Tap Add photo, then Save.

Find it later

Open Receipts from the app. The list shows supplier, date and amount. Tap a row to edit it or replace the photo.

What this is not

VanlyGo does not extract totals from the image and does not send receipts to your accountant automatically. Pro includes a separate accountant export for invoices and payments if you want a spreadsheet.
