Receipt capture is a VanlyGo Pro feature. A scan makes a flat photo of the paper. You still type the supplier, amount and date. VanlyGo does not read the receipt for you.
Add a receipt
- On Home, tap Create new, then Receipt. Free accounts are taken to VanlyGo Pro.
- Tap Scan and capture one page, or choose a photo from your library. You can skip this and scan later.
- Enter the Supplier, the Amount and check the Date.
- Tap Save.
- Optionally open More for a category (Materials, Fuel, Tools or Other), the tax shown on the receipt, or a link to a customer, estimate or invoice. Type the tax yourself — VanlyGo does not work it out from the photo or the total.
Find it later
Open Receipts from the app. The list is grouped by month and shows supplier, date and amount. Search by supplier. Tap a row to see the scan, edit it, or replace it.
What this is not
VanlyGo does not extract totals from the image and does not guess receipt tax. Pro includes an accountant export that can include receipts as well as invoices and payments.
