You can send a professional estimate from the phone you already carry. The customer opens it from the email or the public link. They do not create a VanlyGo account.
Before you start
Have the customer’s name. An email address is needed if you want VanlyGo to send the PDF. You can still preview without one.
Saved customers and items speed this up. They are unlimited on Free and Pro.
Create the estimate
- On Home, tap Create new, then Estimate.
- Pick a customer, or add a name.
- Add labour and materials from your items list, or type a line.
- Check tax and totals at the bottom of the screen.
Dates, reference, notes and terms can wait. They are not required to send.
Preview and send
- Preview the PDF when a customer is selected.
- If the customer has an email, send it from the preview.
- The customer can open the public estimate link without signing in.
Public estimate links expire after 90 days.
After they agree
Open the estimate and tap Convert to invoice. You do not retype the job. Sending invoices is covered in Creating and sending a professional invoice.
